Com o membro superior (braços) mais forte e treinado, ficará mais fácil sustentar o bebê durante as ninadas, a amamentação, para esperar o arroto, etc.
Já o membro inferior (pernas) mais forte, se for parto normal, ajudará nas mudanças de posições durantes o trabalho de parto e parto se quiser de cócoras, já na cesárea ajudará nas primeiras semanas ter a independência para trocas de roupa, tomar banho, pegar o bebê no berço e/ou simplesmente pegar o bebê, isso porque muitas mães relatam dor nos pontos da cesárea e não conseguem fazer a flexão de tronco e precisam da ajuda do marido ou da mãe/sogra para fazer esforço, com o membro inferior fortalecido, a mãe irá fazer flexão de perna e coxa sem realizar flexão de tronco, conseguindo assim realizar as tarefas. (orientações dadas durante a gestação, por meio de palestras na Corporale)
