Dedicado a uma gestante que ainda não conheço, só conheço o marido, que me contou que ela tomou um banho relaxante na banheira e quando eu avisei dos riscos ele disse: ” Mas isso não tem no seu Blog, e ela lê o seu Blog! Então lá vai!”
É necessário evitar que a temperatura interna aumente – a água não deverá estar muito quente, não sendo aconselhado a estar muito mais quente que a temperatura normal de um corpo, que é usualmente 36 graus, ela deve ficar apenas morninha. Banhos de imersão muito quentes não são recomendáveis. Nos primeiros três meses de gestação, a hipertermia (excesso de calor) pode causar malformações no feto. “A partir do segundo trimestre, é normal que a pressão arterial da gestante caia. O ambiente muito quente contribui para uma queda ainda mais acentuada, podendo ocasionar desmaio e diminuição do fluxo de sangue para o bebê”. Uma dica é manter a porta do banheiro entreaberta para impedir o acúmulo de vapor quente no local.

Devido à alta temperatura nesse ambiente, fazer sauna é desaconselhado pela maioria dos médicos para prevenir problemas como queda de pressão, desmaio e enjoo.
