• Não fume (esse também é um hábito que se deve evitar durante a gravidez). Use estratégias para tentar abandonar ou diminuir o fumo.
• Depois de comer, mantenha-se com o tronco ereto por pelo menos uma hora (não se deite).
• Durma semi-sentada, com a ajuda de travesseiros.
• Experimente tomar chá de hortelã, de erva-doce ou de erva-cidreira depois das refeições.
